Firm History

Robert Pastel formed a lobbying partnership with William Lifton in 1993. Pastel is former counsel to the New York State Assembly Insurance Committee and Housing Committee. In 1997, Michael Rosen joined the firm, which later became Pastel & Rosen, LLP. Rosen served as counsel to the Senate Consumer Protection and Insurance Committees. Campbell Wallace joined in 2023 and the firm became Pastel Rosen & Wallace. Wallace served as counsel to the Assembly minority conference for the Insurance and Higher Education committees among others. He also served as in-house counsel and director of government affairs for trade associations in the insurance and professional engineering fields.
